The company, with more than six years in the Ecuadorian market, seeks to reach international markets.

Aeroregional, with more than six years of presence in the Ecuadorian market, announces a global distribution agreement with Euroairlines for marketing in international markets. The agreement will allow the company to market its tickets in IATA and non-IATA agencies, OTAs, aggregators, metasearch and consolidators worldwide.

The marketing will be done through the Eurodistribution platform, owned by the Euroairlines group, which is present in 60 international markets representing more than 90% of the world’s air travel demand and in the main global distribution systems (GDS): Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport, B2B platforms such as Travelfusion, HitchHiker and KIU, and direct integrations with APIs.

With a strong experience in non-scheduled flights, Aeroregional embarked on the journey to scheduled flights, initially within Ecuador, linking the cities of Quito, Loja, Coca and Santa Rosa with daily flights and several frequencies according to the demand of its passengers.

All Aeroregional fares include, at no additional cost, one 23 kg suitcase in the hold and one 10 kg carry-on bag in the cabin.

The airline has proposed to make the international leap within the region and the first destination is Panama, arriving at Balboa airport, where they have been flying on Fridays and Mondays since April 28. “Our expectations are to be able to fly this year also to the cities of Mexico, Lima and Caracas and to make Quito a Hub of regional integration”, confirmed the airline.

Miguel Halabí, Aeroregional’s Sales Director, confirms that “our code-share agreement with Euroairlines allows us to have a presence in the most important markets of America and Europe thanks to the fact that Euroairlines distributes its content in all the GDS that predominate in those markets, a benefit that makes available to all Ecuadorians and non-Ecuadorians, the flights operated by Aeroregional within Ecuador and also its future international flights. Our agreement with Euroairlines is the best thing that could have happened to us”.

Antonio López Lázaro, CEO of Euroairlines states that “we are proud to be partners with Aeroregional and its exceptional team. We are confident that we can exponentially boost their distribution in new markets, channels and connectivity with other customers of our group”.

He also adds that “Aeroregional has unbeatable values and product in the region, we greatly appreciate their trust and we will accompany them in a comprehensive manner throughout their route and business development in the coming years”.
